I am glad that you are here.

My name is Melissa Lehto and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. 

I am licensed in the state of Texas to provide mental health counseling services.

My focus is to provide healing in processing trauma-causing anxiety, depression, PTSD, or other symptoms.

It is an honor that my clients allow me to be there in their more vulnerable times,

I take my calling/profession very seriously. It is with the utmost respect that I will provide mental health counseling (therapy). 

You don't have to do this alone, let's work together in a safe, welcoming, supportive, and peaceful environment. 

It is never "What's wrong with me", Rather it is "What happened to me"

Individual Counseling

I am trained to work with adult individuals experiencing childhood trauma, depression, anxiety symptoms and PTSD. Grief, difficult family or important relationships, poor self-esteem, stress and burnout.

I am licensed to work in the state of Texas and my services are provided via telehealth or in person.

Couples Counseling

I like to start from a place of safety by allowing you and your partner to navigate interpersonal values, patterns, themes, communication, cycles, and attachment styles that create an emotional and physical disconnection. Couples therapy will help with building trust, reducing the fighting, learning how to deal with fear and insecurities, healing relationship wounds, improving communication skills, learning how to establish healthy boundaries, and learning to identify objectives and goals for the relationship.

I provide psychoeducation information to various groups including schools, and organizations, or participate in collaborating with other professionals. If you’d like to inquire about me speaking at your event or being a guest, feel free to reach out

 Steps on Booking a session. 

 

​

  1. ​ Please book a free consultation (15 to 30 minutes). During this time we will review your needs, and goals, address concerns about the therapy process, check for matching services, and make sure we are a good fit for each other. 
     

  2. If we decide we want to continue, I will send you the initial intake registration forms. You will also receive instructions for payment, a link to log in, or the address and have our initial session.
     

  3.  During our first official session, we will review your registration form, review content and policies, through a safe and open conversation I will address any questions about the process for therapy, we will establish goals and objectives, and identify your needs and expectations for therapy. 
     

  4.  Payments will be processed after every session and we will reschedule your following appointment.
